Production 101 (Course #P111.P1) 40 Hours

This course prepares the student for entry-level, on-set opportunities in film production. You will examine and experience the basic fundamentals of production. Special emphasis is placed on etiquette, terminology, and typical tasks on set. Additional focus is placed on maximizing previous job skills, and utilizing them for various fields of Production.

Production 202 (Course #P112.P1) 40 Hours

Production 202 takes the skills and knowledge gained in Production 101 a step further, by providing an in-depth, hands-on-experience in the art of pre-production. This course includes a step-by-step journey through its process of concept creation, site location, storyboarding, talent scouting, crew calls and various planning techniques. (Prerequisite: Production 101)

Production & Post Production 303 (Course #P113.P1) 40 Hours

This advanced course will utilize all of the skills acquired in courses 101 & 202. You will learn the final steps needed for films and TV, by exploring the fundamental procedures for Production and Post Production. Students will learn shooting, editing, audio mixing, and the basics of film & video distribution. (Prerequisite: Production 101 & 202)
