About

The Center For Film Studies’ curriculum is designed to meet Hollywood’s standards for film and TV production, and provide a prepared workforce to the industry. Each class has been developed by experienced film and TV professionals with decades of work in their respective fields. They view teaching their craft as a process of mentoring a new work force to be at the forefront of the Film & Television Industry.

What Makes CFS The Best:

Counseling and Guidance — Class sizes are small so students can fully participate in the training, and gain the skills necessary to succeed. Also, students will work with our Resume Coach to create a functional resume, geared towards the Film Industry. Field trips and guest speakers also enhance the educational experience. Counselors, Student Advisors, and Graduate Advisors are always available to help students on a one-on-one basis.

Industry Instructors — Our instructors are highly experienced, industry veterans, who teach because they have a passion for the film industry. Their experience and expertise is a key element that makes the Center For Film Studies stand out above the rest. Instructors work with students in a hands-on environment, and emphasize the various ways students can enhance their skills to be successful in film, and other related fields.

Making Connections — There are two other important elements of the Film Industry, networking and building relationships. By taking classes at CFS, students not only learn the necessary skills, but they will gain access to Crew Connection which is an exclusive, job resource for graduates. CFS graduates will be able to network with filmmakers and producers, set up interviews and go to Crew Calls. Graduates will create long lasting friendships, and work together to find jobs and share information.
